Despite of all adversity and challenges mother nature laid upon us, including the destruction of our wonderful beach and torrential rain, The Day on the Beach for the Orphan Children from The mercy Centre in Bangkok proceeded with fun, laughter and contentment thanks to a wonderful team of fantastic volunteers who at the last minute improvised and organized the most entertaining and joyful activities for the children, and our cooks who prepared delicious meals to keep the children well fed and my staff and helpers, despite of getting soaking wet preparing the venue so the children can, and did have a wonderful day.
My heart-warming thanks go to Holly Chaitongkam, Kru Steve Bee and Sara Pradit for their unselfish commitment to care for the children, Even though their own homes were a victim of Mother Nature’s fury. Thank you and god bless you all. I am proud and honoured to have you in the CCC family.
The children were brought to Khanom and the cost of the food was funded by The Rotary Club of Koh Samui.
